Setting aside P14 a day for 1 month can help 1 women fight breast
cancer
Breast
cancer has been the leading cancer
site among Filipino women since 1980. Last year, 14043 Filipinas
were diagnosed with the disease. Although early breast cancer
is curable, says Dr. Cristina Santos of the Philippine Foundation
for Breast Care, Inc. (PFBCI), many indigent patients are left
incurred since screening mammography alone ranges from P400
to P1,600. |

You
can help by taking part in the Give Them A Better Picture Of
Life campaign, a joint effort by PFBCI and Kodak. Donations
cans are located in Kodak Express Store nationwide, and collections
go to PFBCI’s Breast Care Center for indigent breast cancer
patients at the East Avenue Medical Center in Quezon City. Any
amount can make a difference. |
