What do you do as a volunteer of PFBCI?

Committee Chairman, Legal Affairs, Licenses,
& Accreditations (2006-2008); As Trustee of the organization, I attend the meetings, participate in
the advocacies of the group, extend all legal support and documentation and such other matters asked for.

What made you volunteer to PFBCI?

I realized that apart from my struggle to achieve a career in life there is also my need to share my talent and skills to the less fortunate sector of the society.  When I was introduced by chance to Dr. Tina Santos by Dr. Beth Pineda, I found the purpose and activities of the PFBCI to be noble, genuine, and most of all an opportunity for me to share whatever talent and skill I have to those in need.

There is an increasing incidence of breast cancer in our country.  This fact should be the concern not only of the medical profession but also of any common individual. People from all walks of life, professional or non-professional, sensitive to the needs and sufferings of breast cancer patients and their families, are welcome to join the Philippine Foundation for Breast Care, Incorporated.
